I will forever be that person who has a deep affection for sunsets and the changing colors of the sky as day turns to night. As an artist, I strive to capture those amazing moments in time and bring them to life on canvas.
The healing power of art is transformative. Having endured “bumps in the road” through the years along life’s journey, I turned to art myself as painting became my refuge in troubled times. Art for the Journey’s mission is a noble one in fostering well-being through creative expression connecting artists with the underserved communities of Richmond and beyond. It has been my pleasure since 2019 to participate in the Gala Events through attendance and donation of my paintings. It’s my way of giving back to the community through my art … as Art for the Journey is an inspiring and worthy organization; one, for which, I am most happy to support.
