Alex J Dimas’ work as a documentary photographer is rooted in the art of storytelling. It reflects a commitment to exploring visual narratives that resonate across cultures and experiences. Being a 1st generation Latina raised by Salvadoran parents, she knew that she had to be open to perspective, and create portraits and landscapes that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and consider the universality of each other’s stories.
