Hiding In The Clouds

I began by making unplanned lines, and added and removed lines and paint until the creature underneath began to emerge. The texture is a result of extra layers of gesso applied before and during painting, underlayers of paint, and the wood grain of the panel. Graphite is underneath the paint and on the surface, along with oil pastel, and red and black colored pencils. The title is “Hiding In The Clouds” because I see a winged creature in the sky, partially concealed by clouds.
