Diana Robinson
Art has always been a passion of mine since a young age. I have always enjoyed studying, producing art and visiting museums. That passion took me to a docent position at the Virginia Museum of Fine arts over two decades ago. In recent years I served as gallery manager at For Art’s Sake Gallery and Studio for 5 years which gave me the opportunity to own the gallery for the past 7 ½ years. I’ve spent my time curating over 100 exhibits and judging shows. I enjoy teaching fine art classes and managing the gallery, studio and frame shop. I love painting in oils and pastels and taking workshops taught by the talented instructors. I show my work as a member of the Virginia Plein Air Painters, Midatlantic pastel society and James River Art League. I gather inspiration for my paintings from trips I have taken to Europe, Mexico, Canada, and throughout the U.S. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I love creating it.
