Kayaking on the James River – ONLINE EXHIBIT

Whether working on a figurative oil, painting, or painting a Plein Air landscape, I strive to create paintings to capture the likeness as well as the spirit of an individual or place. I am an advocate of painting from life and I do so on a regular basis painting from the live model in the studio or painting outdoors in the open air I received my BFA from Westfield University, and attended Massachusetts College of art after I graduated I worked at the museum of fine art in Boston, Massachusetts, where I was deeply influenced by the work of America’s first impressionists after moving to Richmond, Virginia I continued my artistic journey by working in the field of graphic design, which contributed to my vision as a painter. My work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the United States.
