No matter what’s happening out there, you’re safe in here

This painting has had a journey of its own. It was first done in 2020 with the title having to do with growing with another person. As time passed, I continued to be dissatisfied with it and made major changes to the overall work…adding brighter colors and a more textured background. As that continued to unfold, the title of the piece had to change because it took on a new meaning for me in the current 2025 climate.
