While boating off one of my favorite places, Anna Maria Island, we came upon these pylons in the middle of the bay. The pelicans looked to be having a party, oblivious of us or the others passing by. I couldn’t wait to capture this memory.
As a professional artist my dad instilled the joy of painting in me. For 70+ years he created his art for others to enjoy and was always anxious to share what he had learned with others. If here today he would so appreciate all that the Art For the Journey offers the community. I am so proud to say that he helped me to understand the value of giving back through art.
