Loving both the flexibility and challenges of oil paint, I work primarily in that medium, but also enjoy using gouache, especially for sketching and plein aire studies. I am drawn to scenes inspired by my travels, seeking to capture the feeling of the place or the spot that caught my eye, as well as colorful still life set ups.
